Week 10's lead game, and our Game of the Week, is Corinth at New Albany on Thursday. Corinth is 3–0 in Region 1-4A, and so is New Albany. It's the last week of region play, so the winner takes the Region 1-4A title.
New Albany is 6–2. Corinth is 5–3. Corinth's 24–10 loss at Amory last Friday was a non-region game. After Week 9, the Press Coverage Power Index (PCPI) still has Corinth by 2 at New Albany, a 56% chance.
Three more region games this week match teams that haven't lost in region play. In each one, somebody takes a first region loss.
D'Iberville, 8–0, goes to Gulfport. Gulfport is 4–0 in Region 4-7A, and so is D'Iberville. The PCPI has Gulfport by 10, a 78% chance.
Hattiesburg goes to West Jones. West Jones is 3–0 in Region 3-6A, and so is Hattiesburg. The PCPI has West Jones by 1, a coin flip.
Also Thursday, Magee goes to Seminary. Magee is 3–0 in Region 6-3A, and so is Seminary. The PCPI has Seminary by 14.
Every game this week involving a Mississippi member school is below, class by class, with our projection and win chance for each.
131games · Thu, Oct. 29 and Fri, Oct. 30 Projected on the PCPI through Oct. 25 · A projection, not a result

Notes
How the projection works: the Press Coverage Power Index rates each team in points against an average Mississippi team, from who it played, where, and by how much, and adds the home edge. The ratings here are set after Week 9 and don't move.
